The Ripple

This was a project I'd pick up in between some other things I'm currently working on. I imposed less structure and let the design take me where it wanted. I took initial inspiration from the HK P7 with some hints of the ГШ-18 and even the USW-A1 at a later stage. I mainly wanted to play with the handle's round shape, have that hole through it, and make it somewhat functional, so I'm glad I persisted with these elements. At some point, I noticed that the overall silhouette was not very exciting which is why I introduced the extra negative space. From this one, I learned more about adjusting the contrast between components and hopefully gained a better sense of balance.
